多年来,分析机构一直认为亚洲市场是卫星提供商的最大变数。其理由如下:一是亚洲拥有全球最多的人口,为卫星运营商提供了大量的服务对象;二是该地区的许多国家又存在着电信管理制度,卫星运营商们对此仍一筹莫展。针对上述特点,本文作者分析了Intelsat、SES新天公司、AsiaSat、Measat、Thaicom、Optus的近期动向,以及亚洲市场在DTH、VSAT的发展趋势。为亚洲卫星业务的进一步发展提供了借鉴与参考。
For years, analysts have long argued that the Asian market is the biggest variable for satellite providers. The reasons are as follows: First, Asia has the largest population in the world, providing a large number of service providers to satellite operators. Second, there are telecommunications management systems in many countries in the region, and satellite operators are still lagging behind. In view of the above characteristics, the author analyzes recent trends of Intelsat, SES Xintian, AsiaSat, Measat, Thaicom and Optus as well as the development trend of DTH and VSAT in Asian markets. It provides a reference for the further development of Asian satellite business.
