从１９４４年到１９５０年间，渤海军区在山东革命老区——鲁西北平原上的惠民县境内，先后创办了渤海军区卫生学校、渤海新华医学院和其附属医院，使渤海军区的医学教育事业从无到有，从初创走向成熟，形成了初具规模的教学、科研、医疗的配套体系。两所高、中等医学院校及其附属医院的创办，不但为部队培养了一批批急需的高中级医疗卫生人才，而且在我军医学教育史上写下了辉煌的一笔，也为中国近代医学史留下了较为珍贵的史料
From 1944 to 1950, the Bohai Military Region successively set up the Bohai Military Region Health School, the Bohai Sea Xinhua Medical College and its affiliated hospitals in Huimin County, an old revolutionary base in Shandong Province, on the northwestern plain of Shandong, so that the medical education in the Bohai Military Region Nothing, from the start to maturity, formed a beginning scale of teaching, research, medical support system. The establishment of two high and medium-sized medical colleges and their affiliated hospitals not only provided a batch of high and mid-level medical and health talents urgently needed for the army, but also wrote a brilliant sum in the history of our military medical education and also served as a symbol of modern China’s modern history.
