The novel “Ah, Pioneer” tells the relationship between man and land, and constructs Vera Cather’s land ethics from the interaction between the pioneer and the land. However, in the narrative conception of the novel, Vera Cather blends regional culture with American culture, and uses the historical background of regional westernization to refine metonymy of the relationship between human existence and the world. It can be said that the success of novels lies not only in the discussion of general and special relations in literary creation, but also in the integration of pioneering themes from the perspective of social context, especially from the regional narrative strategies in Nebraska to restore the geographical features, Reflection and Perception of Man - earth Relationship.
