Of the ointments used by the Han Chinese since ancient times, some have been made by the decoction of traditional Chinese medicines, and extracts such as azulene, aloe, and donkey-hide gelatin have also been included in this category. These medicines were originally used as preparations for the preparation of extracts. In recent years, the Chinese herbal extracts marketed have been characterized by dipping the preparations originally used for decoction. Since the amount of water used in the Chinese decoction is regulated, the concentration of the active ingredient in the oral solution should be approximately fixed within a certain range if the change in the content of the active ingredient in the crude drug or changes in the boiling process is not taken into consideration. However, due to the removal of water in the extract, if tablets, powders, etc. are directly taken, the concentration of the ingredients in the digestive tract must be higher than that of the soup. This has no effect on the efficacy of the drug. At present, there is no conclusion. and
