My background (a bachelor’s degree in political economy in natural resources from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the Israel Institute of Technology) led me first to a post at the government and then to an environmental non-governmental organization. My work is meaningful and influential, and it supports the research of my husband: he has just completed his military service and has no financial support. I hope I can have a chance to return to school when I finish my research. After my husband completed his degree, he left me with us 3 years old
