Objective To explore the effect of the extra-large earthquake on the psychological status of the army rescue workers. Methods A questionnaire was compiled by a group of medical college expert teams to investigate the mental state of rescue workers after disaster, and 393 front-line rescue workers in the special earthquake were randomly surveyed. The data were analyzed by screening and frequency statistics. Results Rescue workers survey results showed that: standard deviation> 1 accounted for 13.74%, standard deviation> 2 accounted for 5.09%, standard deviation> 3 accounted for 2.80%. Frequencies of the results show that most of the army’s rescue workers are in a normal state of mind, but 44.8% of the rescue workers have obvious emotional reactions. Some of the rescue workers are more severely affected by social functions such as emotion, interpersonal communication, emotion and attention influences. Conclusions Given the impact of the presence of a significant number of aid workers in the contingency of the armed forces in handling major earthquakes, we should provide psychological support services to military aid workers on a long-term, scientific and professional perspective.
