Preface In flight students, small letter contrast sensitivity (CS) is more sensitive to defocus, brightness, binocular vision and visual differences than visual acuity (VA) (Rabin, ASMA 1994). This experiment deserves to be promoted. We have developed a hardware type for small letter comparison tests (SLCTs) for various organizations. Method This SLCT is produced in computer software, printed by a printer with continuous chromaticity, and heat pressed into a polymerized version. This edition has 14 lines with 10 letters each. The letters are of constant size (20/25 at 4 m), but each row has a 0.1 log level difference
