观测地下自然电位,一方面测到了与地震预报关系密切的过滤电动势的变化;另一方面也测到了自然电位所包括的其他成分,如大地电流场等。而这些成分的变化量一般大于过滤电动势的变化量;只有在大地震临震前,当急速的地震电效应变化超过了缓慢的大地电流场及其他成分的变化时,在震中附近的地电装置才会有清晰的记录。实践证明:用一般微安表定时观测是捕捉不到地震信息的;只有用自动记录的方式来捕获地震信息。
Observation of underground natural potentials, on the one hand, has detected changes in the filtered electromotive force closely related to earthquake prediction; on the other hand, it has also measured other components included in the natural potential, such as the earth current field.
