2010年,贵州省启动了普通高中课程改革,到现在才两年的时间,在推进过程中还存在一些困难和问题。为了解我省普通高中课程改革的进展情况、总结我省高中课程改革取得的经验、查找课程改革中存在的问题,以推进课程改革的实施,贵州省教科院组织课题组研究人员,于2012年下半年对我省部分高中课程改革样本校及部分普通高中学校进行调研。调研的学校包括贵阳实验三中、遵义四中、安顺一中、都匀二中、麻江中学、凯里一中、兴仁一中、铜仁一中、毕节一中、六盘水市三中等
