当代社会主义实践的每一重大变化,总是不断地向我们提出重新学习,研究马克思主义经典作家有关著述的任务,这包括深刻地理解马克思主义的方法论和反思我们在学习方法、解读方法和研究态度上的问题,不断提高自我批判的能力。譬如,如何完整、准确、全面地理解经典作家的思想发展;他们对当时社会历史条件的考察和人类社会发展规律的揭示以及东西方社会发展道路的探索,对于我们今天概括时代特征、指导改革实践有着怎样的现实意义;怎样把对经典作家有关著述的系统把握与对当时社会历史条件的深刻分析及对现实问题的科学研究有机地结合起来;马克思主义经典作家对于前人思维成果的批判,对于指导我们今天有关传统文化和外来哲学思潮的研究有着什么样的方法论意义;如何深化对实践活动本身的研究进而正确地理解并处理主观辩证法与客观辩证法的关系,把有关辩证法、认识论、思想史,逻辑学、历史观乃至价值问题,文化问题等方面的研究紧密联系起来,真正把握列宁所说的马克思主义哲学是“一整块钢铁”的重要特征;如何自觉地以唯物史观中真理观与价值观统一的原则指导我们的研究进程(包括对经典作家有关论著的读解过程);等等。不言而喻,深化这些问题的研究,既可以给当前的改革实践以强有力的支持与推动,又可以丰富、发展马克思主义的哲学基础。
