经济型酒店从开始到现在,将近15年的历史,现在到了需要变革和创新的时候了。经济型酒店在快速扩张,极速开店之后,各品牌也会继续细分,继续分层,品牌的差异化和个性化也会更加鲜明。不管是产品创新、模式创新,还是品质升级,都是要紧跟主流消费者的需求。回顾中国酒店业的发展,我认为2002年是最为特殊的时期,当时酒店业处在两极分化的状态。要么是以外资品牌为主的高星级、豪华酒店;再有,就是各种类似于招待所的小旅馆。由于各种契机,我们开始了对于经济型酒店的关注。当时出现了锦江之星和新亚之星。在仔细研究了当时的酒店体系之后,我们开始了中国经济型酒店大产业之旅。
