《大雅.生民》讲述了一个绚丽多彩的神话故事,在《诗经》实属绝无仅有。但人们却总是按着“人道”与“常理”去解说它,因而总是不得通其肯綮,使其一直成为一个未被读懂的神话故事。笔者发现,只要沿着诗歌文本的“神话”思路去解读,一切便都豁然开朗、涣然冰释。实际上,后稷的真正出生,是在“鸟乃去矣”之时!“鸟覆翼之”的过程,其实就是鸟孵化的过程!姜?“居然生子”时所生之“子”,仅仅是一个“卵”或者说“蛋”!上帝不安宁,不享受姜?的祭祀,竟然让她生下这么一个蛋!所以反复地要将其抛弃。我们可以还《生民》前三章以神话本来面目。
