We conducted a preliminary study on the content, distribution and availability of micronutrients such as zinc, boron, molybdenum, cobalt, manganese, copper and iron in Shanghai soil from 1978 to 1979. On the basis of this, , Boron, molybdenum, cobalt and other elements of the effective content of the division and draw the composition map here only on the content of molybdenum and cobalt in the soil profile to make an overview. The content of total molybdenum in Shanghai soils ranged from 0.41 to 1.99ppm with an average of 0.75ppm, lower than the average content of molybdenum (1.7ppm) in China’s soils. It was also lower than the average content of molybdenum in the world soils (1-2pp-m, 2ppm, 2.5ppm, 3ppm). Total cobalt content range 10.5 ~ 27.5ppm, the average content is 19.4ppm, close to or slightly higher than the average content of some areas in our country (21ppm, 15ppm). In all kinds of soils in Shanghai, there is not much difference in total cobalt content, with an average of 18-21
