We are sadly feeling the current paucity of children’s books. I think there seems to be some vague thoughts circulating in the minds of some writers. That is: They divide their works into several categories. If they write for children and teenagers, they will probably always be listed in third, fourth, etc. Although no such sub-division has ever been openly discussed or written, it is undeniable that such views do exist. Undoubtedly, this view is to some extent a hindrance to the prosperity and development of our children’s literature.
