党内监督是从严治党的重要手段，是民主集中制的重要构成和可靠保证，能使全党保持高度一致。它具有其他监督不同的特点，监督的重点是各级领导机关和领导干部，新时期加强党内监督关系到党的生死存亡和国家的兴衰成败，因此，必须健全和完善党内监督机制：一是加强党内民主；二是完善监督机制；三是实行公开原则；四是发挥监督的职能部门作用；五是发挥整体效能作用；六是做好超前监督。
Inner-party supervision is an important means of strictly controlling the party, an important component and reliable guarantee of democratic centralism, and enables the whole party to maintain a high degree of consistency.
