A drug has the opposite two different effects, such as the drug’s energy can stop, can rise and fall, energy can make up, can diarrhea and can be astringent; or according to modern pharmacology that the same drug can be excited It can also be sedated, and can both contract and expand, and is collectively referred to as the “bidirectionality” of drugs. Drugs that have “bidirectional” effects are not lacking in many Chinese herbal medicines according to the literature and related literature. The reason why some traditional Chinese medicines have “bidirectionality” is mainly because Chinese medicine is a natural animal, mineral, and plant. The composition of the Chinese medicine is more complex, and it is different from the single purification chemical. At the same time, traditional Chinese medicines are mostly used in combination, and their compatibility, dosage, and method of manufacture can change their original unidirectionality or make them “bidirectional”.
