《中华人民共和国工会法》规定：同一行业或者性质相近的几个行业,可以根据需要建立全国的或者地方的产业工会。《中国工会章程》规定：中国工会实行产业和地方相结合的组织领导原则。这些规定从法律和规章上明确了产业工会的地位。事实表明,产业工会作为职工自愿结合的工人阶级群众组织,是社会经济矛盾和产业职工权益诉求的必然产物,是中国工会总体不可缺少的重要组成部分。
The “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Trade Unions” stipulates that several industries in the same industry or in a similar nature may establish national or local industrial unions as needed. The “Chinese Trade Unions Constitution” stipulates that the Chinese trade unions practice the principle of organizational leadership that integrates industry with localities. These rules clearly define the status of industrial unions from the laws and regulations. The facts show that the industrial union, as a working-class mass organization voluntarily combined by employees, is the inevitable outcome of the demands of social and economic contradictions and the rights and interests of industrial workers and is an indispensable and integral part of the Chinese trade unions.
