In the past few years, the most noteworthy progress of dental ceramics is the manufacture of new materials and new ceramic crown technology. Since Land developed the platinum foil process in 1903, ceramic crowns have been widely used by the dental community. They are made of high-feldspar stone ceramics, known for their natural beauty.
