Citing the necessary chemical history materials in classroom teaching is a new requirement put forward by the new curriculum reform and an effective way to educate the students on humanism and patriotism. The reference to the history of chemistry helps to arouse students’ interest in learning, helps to carry out scientific methodology education, and helps to educate students in a scientific spirit that is hard-won and indomitable.
