无论是《生理卫生》教材上的盲点测试图还是杂志上介绍的“运用双拳测定盲点”的方法,初测盲点的学生都不容易很好地掌握,往往测不出盲点。究其原因,由于被测两点间的距离太近,如“+”与“○”相距约3.3cm左右。使“○”成像于盲点的书眼距离致有4cm左右的移动范围,使学生不易把握书的平衡,很容易使“○”移出盲点;同时,被测两点间的距离太近,在注视“+”时很容易迁移到“○”上去而测不出盲点。我们曾对这一实验作了改进,能克服以上缺点,效果很好,现介绍如下:
