“Fleas” a poem as John Dunne metaphorical metaphor of famous articles, has been handed down so far. However, the fact that the single center of male discourse and the female being hidden in silent discourse revealed in this poem also attracted the attention of feminist critics. Through the representation of the male single discourse in poems, it helps to explore the fact that the discourse power of women is lost and reveals that Dunn, as a male writer limited by the tradition of the times, has the implicit patriarchal ideology in his works.
