汉字在世界上是唯一一种自发明至今没有中断过的文字，也是历时最久的文字，汉字如今已经跨越了4000多个春夏秋冬，是历史感最为厚重的文字其一。汉字作为我们民族上下五千年的智慧结晶，它的丰富内涵和深刻寓意无不彰显着中华民族深厚的文化根基，体现着中华民族源远流长的文化背景。本文以汉字的结体原则及造字方法入手来探究汉字所承载的文化价值。
