遵照伟大领袖毛主席关于“人类要控制自己,做到计划地增长”和“人类在生育上完全无政府主义是不行的,也要计划生育”的教导,我州在自1960年至1977年4月共施行了22,485例绝育性输精管结扎术(以下简称结扎术)。为了解术后情况,进一步做好计划生育工作,我们在延吉县,珲春县和敦化县仅对结扎术716例进行了术后随访,随访时间为自术后5个月～17年。
