中学生反映地理难学,归因之一是数学因素,地理与数学相关度非常高,地理学科充满了数据计算、数理逻辑思维和空间思维。在中学地理学科中,许多知识都用到数学进行计算和推理,将地理教学与数学教学进行恰当地整合处理,使学生能更加有效地用数学工具学习研究地理学科知识,这有利于提高地理和数学的学习效率。文章列举了用数学工具表征、探究的一些典型的地理概念和规律性知识,抓好一些典型案例的整合教学,能够较好的促进学生的地理和数学的学习。
