The progress in several research areas of high repetition rate pulsed frequency shift chemical oxygen-iodine laser is summarized. Describes a chemical oxygen-iodine laser gain switching experiment performed at a pulse repetition rate of 10 kHz with a novel solid-state pulsed magnetic field system. A pulsed photolysis iodine laser was also described as a Raman optical frequency conversion experiment in hydrogen as a chemical oxygen-iodine laser replacement.
