目前,缓倾斜中厚和厚煤层主要由高效综采机械化设备开采,年产煤达一亿一千万吨,占全部井工采煤量的30％。 采煤机是综采设备的采煤机械,整套综采设备工作的效益主要地取决于采煤机械的能力和可靠性。为了开采2米以上的煤层使用-3M和2—3型采煤机。但是,这些机械的技术和使用性能并不总是能够满足综采机械设备在使用上所提出的高要求。
