滴眼剂是滴入眼内的一种溶液制剂(也有个别是混悬液),在医疗上作为麻醉、抗感染、消炎、缩瞳、扩瞳或其他特别用途。由于眼粘膜很嫩弱敏感,尤其是在已遭受感染或当眼部受外伤以及在施行手术之后,如滴入污染的滴眼剂就可能出现严重后果,故对滴眼剂要求必须严格。一种理想的滴眼剂应能满足以下五个要求:(1)具有化学稳定性;(2)有确切疗效;(3)无刺激性和疼痛感;(4)澄明 Eye drops are solutions of a solution (also individually as a suspension) that is dripped into the eye and is medically used as an anesthetic, anti-infective, anti-inflammatory, miosis, pupil dilation or other special purpose.
