当读者接到本期刊物的时候,正值毛泽东同志《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》发表四十五周年。在历史的巨轮驶进“四化”建设的新时期,如何正确理解《讲话》所阐明的、并为长期革命实践证实是正确的指导思想和基本精神,以坚持和发展马克思主义、毛泽东文艺思想,清除资产阶级自由化思潮的影响,建设具有中国特色的社会主义戏剧艺术,无疑是摆在每个戏剧工作者面前不容回避的问题。延安时期已涌现出来的著名戏剧家马健翎,以他现实主义的剧作和成就,在我国戏剧史上有着重要的建树和地位。我们选发顾智敏《马健翎现代剧作的艺术特色》一文,以资对《讲话》的纪念。
