德国小蠊在聚集行为、采食行为和求偶行为中通过活性挥发物实现个体的远距离引诱。聚集行为由聚集信息素促成,受温度、水分等影响,业已报道的有胺类、表皮烃类、有机酸类及其他物质。德国小蠊的觅食行为受食物挥发物的引导,主要为一些羰基和羟基化合物;粪便挥发物与食物次生挥发物常具有相同的成分,表现出相通性;德国小蠊求偶行为受挥发性的性信息素小蠊醌和雄虫婚食指示物的主导,婚食引诱与食物引诱也具有相通性。德国小蠊的各引诱因子均受微环境影响,但其共通性有待实验证实。
