新型有机试剂的合成及应用至今仍是光度分析法发展的方向之一.三苯甲烷染料是早为人所共知的一类常用显色剂,优点是灵敏度高,但在强酸性介质中不够稳定,对比度小.若在其分子中用安替比林环代替一个苯环,由于安替比林基的络合和成盐能力胜过苯环上的氨基,能显著提高试剂的反应能力,由于杂环基的引入,能提高试剂在强酸介质中的稳定性及对比度,这类试剂统称为安替比林染料.已有人合成了几种,并先后广泛用于在不同条件下测定锌、镓(Ⅲ)、镉、锑(Ⅴ)、钼(Ⅵ)、铼(Ⅶ)、汞(Ⅱ)、硼、磷(Ⅴ)、钖(Ⅱ)、硅、锗等
