建设社会主义和谐社会是当前我国的一项重大战略任务。而和谐社会统计监测指标体系的构建和实证分析研究,对于准确测度与评价和谐社会建设的实际进程,从而更加科学地推进和谐社会建设,具有十分重要的实践指导意义。进行武汉市和谐社会统计监测指标体系研究,目的是按照和谐社会的具体要求,对武汉市和谐社会建设的进展情况进行定量评价,从而有助于推动武汉市和谐社会建设进程,提高政府的科学执政能力和国民经济管理水平。
Building a socialist harmonious society is a major strategic task for our country at present.
