Currently, airlines are reducing flight delays and cancellations through the use of Aircraft Health Management (AHM) decision support tools. AHM is part of Boeing’s digital airline strategy and uses advanced “big data” and analytics technology to help airlines gain more efficient fleet operational efficiencies, giving the market a head start. AHM is a key component of maintenance and engineering systems that contain data, information and knowledge that can be shared across the organization in real time. AHM combines remote collection, monitoring and aircraft data analysis to determine the current status and future availability of an aircraft based on decades of fleet data from Boeing. At the same time, AHM is also able to provide preventive maintenance of Boeing aircraft by automating and enhancing real-time monitoring of aircraft data
