In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the third regional geological survey team of the Sichuan Bureau of Geological Exploration discovered the Upper Ordovician stratigraphic discontinuities in the Upper Paleozoic and Triassic regions such as the Jiangda Qinghidong and Mankang Haitong areas in northeastern Tibet. Exposed, was north-west - South South East Strip Banded. Does the belt extend north and northwest into the southern part of Qinghai? The geological survey made by Qinghai did not provide any evidence. The only clue was that a degenerated deep clastic rock system was exposed in Batang-Siumascus, 1 : 1 million regional geological survey will be compared to the suspicious of the Lower Permian, and later compiled and published second generation geological map of Qinghai Province (1981), changed to suspicious Lower Paleozoic.
