对《煤的稀土元素地球化学》一文某些问题的讨论，认为：煤与煤灰是两个不同的概念，不能用煤灰的稀土元素丰度来讨论煤的稀土元素丰度；煤的灰分增高，稀土元素含量也增高，表明煤中稀土元素主要来源于陆源碎屑的供给。
Discussion of some issues in “Rare Earth Geochemistry of Coal” argues that coal and coal ash are two different concepts and that the rare earth element abundance of coal ash can not be used to discuss the abundance of rare earth elements in coal.
