The so-called TD method (Tayota Diffusion Coating Process) is a method of spreading molds and machinery parts in a salt bath dominated by borax (Na 2 B 4 O 7) in recent years by Japan’s Toyota Central Research Institute. It can be worn on the metal surface, corrosion resistance, high temperature titanium, vanadium, niobium, chromium carbide and chromium solid solution layer. This process is low cost, simple equipment, easy operation, pollution-free, with practical production. The institute has been entrusted with the processing of Tokyo heat treatment company since May 1973. First, the process outlined TD method can use the general salt bath furnace crucible. Borax used varies with the use of different, usually 70 ~ 90%, temperature
