获得吉尼斯世界纪录认可的世界上最成功的推销员乔吉拉德,有一句名言:“真正的销售在成交之后。”吉拉德的推销员生涯是从卖机床开始的。从最初的2个月只卖出5台机床,连基本任务都完不成,到第3个月一下卖出47台机床,销售业绩位居全公司之首。他的做法是:把每一次推销成功后的成交都看做是下一次推销活动的开始,所以在成交之后吉拉德还会继续关心他的客户,而不是把他们置于脑后。在成交后他会依然不断地为他的客户们提供各种服务,联络感情,正因如此,他的客户们对他的印象越来越好,也越来越认可他推销的机床,而且都非常积极主动
