教学内容分析:
本课是第四单元How do you get to school? 的第一课时,核心内容是谈论交通方式(transportation),与学生生活密切相关,学生熟悉,乐于去说,并且本课的句型较少,主要是通过两个特殊疑问句How do / does … get to school? How long does it take? 来讨论出行的交通方式及用时,并为后面一课时出现的How far…?等句型做铺垫。
教学目标:

1.能够正确表达如何去一个地方。
2.掌握目标语言。

一.教学重点:
1.学习词汇:bike, train, subway, car…以及乘坐交通工具的动词词组及介词词组。
2.学习句型:
—How do you get to school / …?
—I take the train. /I get to school/… by train.
—How does he/she get to school / …?
—She rides a bike. / She gets to school/… by bike.
—How long does it take? —It takes about …minutes.
二. 教学难点:
1.熟练掌握主语是第三人称时动词的变化。
2.区别动词词组take the train /ride a bike/ walk及介词词组 by train/bike/on foot.
教学过程:
一.Lead—in
呈现坐车图片,然后说:I get to school by bus. Bus is a transportation(交通工具),强调transportation的意思。
呈现几张交通工具图片(train,boat,bike,plane,on foot.)并让学生试着拼读出来。
(设计意图:通过图片让学生先掌握几个下面将要用到的几个表示交通工具的单词,为下面的学习做好准备。)
二.Presentation
T: I get to school by bus.How do you get to school?
S1: I get to school by bike.
T:How about you?
S2: I get to school by bus.
S3: I get to school by boat.
T:How does S3 get to school?
Ss:He gets to school by boat.
T:How do you get to school?
S4/S5:I get to school by…
然后让学生根据目标语言及重点词组进行小组活动。
(设计意图:通过老师示范,让学生自己感知目标语言,然后通过小组活动展现出来。)

(设计意图:通过练习对所学句型做进一步操练。)
四.Listen and check
Look at 1b, listen and answer the question: How do they get to school?
Look at 2b and 2c then listen. For the first time,listen and find out the kinds of transportation they talk about.(check answers). For the second time, listen and find out how long does it take? (check answers)
(设计意图:指令清晰,目标明确,学生能迅速明白任务)
