2013年诺贝尔奖文学奖揭晓前,跟往年一样,民间对于诺贝尔文学奖得主的预测,一如既往地热烈,日本作家村上春树以一赔四领衔赔率榜,成为最大的热门。今年,中国又有余华、苏童、李锐、北岛等作家获得诺贝尔文学奖提名。圈内评论家认为,今年美国作家获奖的可能性比较大。年年如斯,无论是媒体还是公众,都对诺奖特别是诺贝尔文学奖倾注了巨大的热情和关注,善意的关注,对于文化发展、文学精神,具有毋庸置疑的强大推动力。可看看当下的这种关注,却停滞在了浮躁和低层次的炒作和跟风层面,很多媒体、公众,不是为了热爱而关注,而是为了娱乐化而关注;不是为了喜欢而关注,为了某种商业化需要而关注,比如博彩公司等。这就会让诺贝尔奖——这个最应该释放创造激情和文化感染力的大奖,成了某种商业道具和工具,成为了一种自欺欺人的“表演性仪式”。
Before the 2013 Nobel Prize Literature Prize was announced, as in previous years, the prediction of non-governmental Nobel Prize winners was as warm as ever. The Japanese writer Haruki Murakami made the biggest hit with a losing four lead odds list. This year, writers like Yu Hua, Su Tong, Li Rui and Bei Dao in China were nominated for the Nobel Prize for Literature. Circle critics believe that this year’s American writers are more likely to win awards. Year after year, both the media and the public devote a great deal of enthusiasm and attention to the Nobel Prize, especially to the Nobel Prize for literature. The concern of goodwill is undoubtedly a strong driving force for cultural development and literary spirit. To see the moment of this concern, but stagnant in the impulsive and low-level speculation and follow-up level, many of the media, the public, not for love and concern, but for entertainment and attention; not for love and attention, for a Concerned about the need for commercialization, such as gaming companies. This will make the Nobel Prize, the prize that most delights in the creation of passion and cultural contagion, the kind of commercial props and tools that have become the demeanor of “performance rituals.”
