Freud (1865-1939) doctrine has great vitality. It has successively exerted a great influence on the literature and art circles in our country. Until today, it still affects the development of various theories of culture and art in our country to varying degrees. Tchaikovsky is a world famous musician. His nature is sensitive, sentimental and melancholy. This character is also fully reflected in his musical works. When we analyze Freud’s three-structure theory of personality to analyze Tchaikovsky (1840-1893), an almost contemporaneous musician, he will be surprised to find that Tchaikovsky’s language and behavior have become Freudian theory best explain, and in turn, Freud’s psychoanalytic theory also helps us to interpret Tchaikovsky’s psychological development from a different perspective. Taking “The Fourth Symphony” as an example, this paper explores Tchaikovsky’s heart from a new perspective by using Freud’s Theory of Three-Personality Structure, which also helps us to better appreciate this amazing work .
