本会矿物物理矿物材料委员会于87年9月21—25日在贵阳召开了“第二届矿物物理、矿物材料和宝石学学术会议”。会议检阅了国内外近年矿物物理、矿物材料和宝石学研究进展和今后动向,成立了宝石矿物学委员会。矿物学是古老的,但目前又处于一个蓬勃发展的新阶段。站在矿物学最突出位置的是矿物物理和矿物材料。矿物物理学使矿物学发生重大的思维方式的转折,以量子理论重新认识和改造矿物学;同时,也日益深刻地影响岩石学、矿床学、地球化学和地球物理等学科的进
The Committee on Mineral Physical Mineral Materials held the 2nd “Symposium on Mineral Physics, Mineral Materials and Gemology” in Guiyang from September 21 to September 25, 1987. The meeting reviewed the progress and future trends in mineral physics, mineral materials and gemmology at home and abroad in recent years and set up the Committee on Gem Mineralogy. Mineralogy is ancient, but it is still in a new phase of vigorous development. Standing in the forefront of mineralogy is mineral physics and mineral materials. Mineralogy has taken a major turn in the way of thinking in mineralogy, re-understanding and transformation of mineralogy with quantum theory, and at the same time, it has increasingly influenced the disciplines of petrology, mineralogy, geochemistry and geophysics
