文化进入市场,古已有之。按史料记载可上溯春秋战国时期,古代的赶集、集市、赶场、玄墟、庙会,就是简单的文化与经济融为一体的市场现象。至元、明、清三朝,出现了以商业演出为主体的初级文化市场。到了半封建半殖民地社会,文化市场的商业特征日趋明显。新中国成立以来,即使在计划经济体制下,作为一种客观的事实,文化市场仍然存在。十一届三中全会以来,我国的经济体制正在向市场方向转轨,而文化,我们一向都把它视为上层建筑,同样也开始堂堂正正地进入市场。
