1985年6月1日至5日,在菲律宾国际水稻研究所召开了为时5天的会议。与会代表是来自菲律宾、新加坡、马来西亚、印度、印尼、斯里兰卡、巴基斯坦、孟加拉、法国、美国、中国等约30个国家的175位科学家,其中我国有13位代表(6位来自台湾省)。议程是:四天大会发言,参观试验田一天,会议共收集报告70篇。会上国际水稻所所长斯维米纳坦首先介绍了该所组织和执行国际合作计划的概况和今后的合作纲要,强调了国际合作研究的重要性。专业合作项目主要有:加速育种和穿梭育种的合作,水稻种质的收集和保存、水稻花药培养,水稻害虫对杀虫剂的敏感水平之监察、国际水稻研究所的战略交流、国际水稻研究所在生物固氮方面的合作研究以及以水稻为主的农作物的旱作之育种和评 From June 1 to June 5, 1985, a five-day meeting was held at the International Rice Research Institute in the Philippines. Delegates were 175 scientists from about 30 countries including the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, France, the United States and China, of whom 13 were from China (6 from Taiwan). The agenda was: Speaking at the four-day conference and visiting the experimental field one day, a total of 70 reports were collected. Svelinanean, director of the International Rice Institute, firstly introduced the outline of the plan for the organization and implementation of international cooperation and the outline of its future cooperation, stressing the importance of international cooperation research. Major cooperation projects include: accelerating the cooperation in breeding and shuttle breeding, the collection and conservation of rice germplasm, the cultivation of rice anther, the monitoring of insecticide sensitive levels by rice pests, the strategic exchange of the International Rice Research Institute, the International Rice Research Institute Cooperative research on biological nitrogen fixation and breeding and evaluation of dry cultivation of rice-based crops
