媒体在人们多元化信息渠道中正占有越来越重要的地位。但受公共性和商业性的双重影响,当前的媒体信息可信度频受质疑,开展媒介素养教育提高公民对媒体辨析、解读和利用的能力十分必要。外语教育作为当前大学教育的重要组成部分,具有工具性与人文性的双重性质,也具备科学素质及人文素质教育双重功能。通过外语教育培养学生的媒介素养教育无论对学生媒介素养还是学生外语学习都有积极地作用。
The media is occupying an increasingly important position in people’s diversified information channels. However, due to the duality of publicity and commerciality, the current credibility of media information is frequently questioned. It is necessary to carry out media literacy education to improve the ability of citizens to discriminate, interpret and utilize the media. Foreign language education, as an important part of current university education, has the double nature of instrumentality and humanity as well as dual functions of scientific quality and humanistic quality education. Fostering Students’ Media Literacy Education through Foreign Language Education Both have a positive effect on students’ media literacy and students’ foreign language learning.
