据日本(矿物学杂志》1981年第15卷第2号报道,于1982年4月13～16日,在西班牙首都马德里将召开关于在沉积环境下晶体生长过程的首届国际讨论会。这次会议是以国际矿物学协会(IMA-International Mineralogieal Associ-afaon)所属矿物的晶体生长委员会(Commission on Crystal Growth of Mine-rals,委员长为日本东北大学教授、日本矿物学会会长砂川一郎)为中心,在国际矿物学协会、国际晶体生长组织(IOCG—International Organizalion of Cry-stal Growth)、西班牙学术会议、西班牙地质学及矿物学研究所的支持下召开的。
