阿拉尔垦区14团场,耕地面积4.673万亩,近年来,在保护和恢复发展胡杨林方面做了大量工作,成绩比较显著,并摸索了一些经验。至1982年夏,该团场,共有胡杨次生林和其他林园面积近二万五千亩,其中胡杨林占林地总面积的92.5％,占农林地总面积的32.1％。其经验和措施有以下几个方面。
There are 14 farms in Alar Land Reclamation Area and 46,700 mu of arable land. In recent years, a great deal of work has been done on the protection and restoration of Populus euphratica forest. The achievements have been remarkable and some experiences have been explored. By the summer of 1982, there were nearly twenty-five thousand acres of Populus euphratica secondary forest and other forest gardens in the regiment, in which Populus euphratica accounted for 92.5% of the total area of forestland and 32.1% of the total area of forestland.
