翻看荣宝斋最近出版的《晏少翔画集》,掩卷回味,勾起了我昔时在北京西山看红叶的感觉。晏先生画人物、山水、花卉,以工笔仕女和写意花卉为主。今年八十有一,仍然笔耕不辍。一般来说画工笔画的人到老年,由于眼力不济,精神衰退,大多抹几笔写意。晏先生却偏偏在退出教席的老年,工笔画精品反而多起来,而且越画越饱满老到,步入妙境,仿佛红叶灿烂如霞。他画的仕女,给人感觉有一种去掉假饰的天真,他画的山水花卉,透着清雅老成的美。
Look Rong Baozhai recently published “Yan Shaoxiang painting set”, hidden volume aftertaste, brought back the feeling I saw in Beijing Xishan red leaves. Mr. Yan painted characters, landscapes, flowers, ladies and freehand brush flowers based. One in eighty this year, still writing down. In general, the painter strokes to old age, mostly due to poor eyesight and mental deterioration, mostly wiping a few freehand brushwork. Mr. Yan has chosen to retire from the teaching of the elderly, fine workmanship instead, more and more full of old, into the Wonderland, as if the bright red leaves. He painted ladies, people feel there is a naive to remove the fake ornaments, he painted landscape flowers, reveals elegant and mature beauty.
