就业对青年人来说,不仅意味着实现经济自立,更是完成向成年人过渡的必要条件。青年人通过就业谋生,也通过就业谋取社会地位和社会身份,表现其社会责任感,从而走向个人的全面发展。因此,青年对职业的评价和择业因素的考虑,是了解和研究青年价值取向的重要指标。政治、经济和社会的重大变革必然影响青年的职业价值观。现将“十年来中国青年价值取向演变”课题组1988年和1990年两次调查中有关职业价值观部分的统计数据作初步整理和分析。一、新旧观念交错的职业评价据1988年春夏之交的抽样调查,2552名16岁到35岁各种不同从业身份的城镇青年,对问
Employment for young people means not only economic self-reliance but also the fulfillment of the conditions necessary for the transition to adults. Through their employment, young people seek their social status through employment and their social identities, showing their sense of social responsibility and thus their all-round development. Therefore, consideration of occupational and career choices by young people is an important indicator for understanding and studying the value orientation of youth. Major political, economic and social changes will inevitably affect young people’s professional values. The statistics on the part of occupational values in the two surveys of 1988 and 1990 of the Task Force on the Evolvement of the Value Orientation of Chinese Youth in the Past Ten Years are hereby preliminarily sorted out and analyzed.
