Changtai County in 1988 introduced the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences Sugarcane Institute breeding sugarcane new varieties of Fujian sugar 81 / 235,81 / 335, the county planted a total of 287 acres of land, per mu generally up to 7 tons, high-yield plots up to 8.5 Ton or more.
