洋葱是比较耐贮藏的蔬菜,但如果贮藏方法不当,也会造成烂耗、干缩现象。准备贮藏的洋葱,收获前10天停止浇水,植株茎叶开始倒伏后,选择晴天连根拔起,摆放在场上晾晒2~3天,再翻晒2~3天。要防止雨淋,叶子晒到发软变黄时编辫,一编40~50头为一辫,继续晾晒辫子,干后准备贮藏。有的不编辫,把6~7个葱头捆成一把。还有的剪去叶子,葱头晾干后装筐存放。贮藏方法主要有:
