一、明代阿吒力的社会地位变迁南诏国后期和大理国时期,因为佛教盛行,知识分子都普遍信奉佛教。既读儒书又读佛典。云南因为地处边地,文化落后,识文断字,有文化的人稀少。知识分子在其所居住的城镇、农村社区内,既充当教习蒙童的教师职责,又替人主持祈福禳灾,超度亡灵的法事,兼有教士的职责,所以称为“师僧”。“师僧有妻子,然往往读儒书。段氏而上有国家者,设科取士,皆出此 I.
